Summary As a Patient Care Technician at Golden Rule Hospice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Located in the heart of our community, this position is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the compassionate support they need during their hospice journey. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Help with documentation and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements Previous experience in a healthcare or hospice setting preferred. Knowledge of Medicare regulations and documentation requirements is essential. Familiarity with ClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
