POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Administrator at Benson Signs is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the project build-out process. This includes establishing and managing project folders, coordinating meetings, overseeing the full build-out process, managing small sign projects, and ensuring accuracy and timely submissions to clients for approval. The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects, have a good understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and be self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
Create project folders from templates and store them within the company drive. Requests code research and permitting information. Confirm all needed documents are in the project folder and reviews for accuracy.
Client Communication and Collaboration:
Coordinate and attend meetings with clients, Project Managers, Relationship Director, and Sign Art to discuss design details and project requirements. Document design details and submit them to Sign Art for concepts. Submit estimate request once concepts are approved. Update estimates as needed. Build out a message schedule for the client to review and approve. Send the approved message schedule to the Project Manager for built out. Collaborate with the Project Manager to proof the full build-out deck against the message schedule and estimate to ensure accuracy. Schedule a pre-production meeting with the Project Manager, Relationship Director, and Production Manager. Submit information to Sign Art to prep for production and ensure all needed permit/engineering documents are finalized. ct Manager, Relationship Director, and Production Manager. Project Oversight:
Manage all small sign projects. Perform other duties as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field; or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in project administration required. Architectural signage experience is preferred, but not required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain the company’s high quality control standards. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet Service Level Expectations (SLEs). Understands manufacturing specs and possesses knowledge to produce art that meets specifications. Strong project management and prioritization skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Strong systems knowledge and ability to quickly learn new software applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to estimate costs, and margins on products needed for the project. Excellent problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Production/Creative/Management Environment Working at computer and sitting for long periods of time. (sitting, talking, hearing) Vision abilities are required to proofread at close vision and confirm correct color and focus. Capable of working weekends, as required.
