is seeking a highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented Engineering Administrative Assistant to join our team in Norcross, GA. This role is critical in providing administrative and operational support, ensuring the department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other support staff to assist with documentation, scheduling, reporting, and general coordination. - Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to project coordinators and engineering team members
- Respond promptly to requests
- Maintain and organize project documentation, drawings, and technical files within SharePoint Assist with entering and managing data in Excel spreadsheets Create and update projects and opportunities in Vantagepoint; run reports as needed/requested
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, organize and order lunch and help document action items
- Support procurement processes by creating purchase orders, tracking orders, and vendor communication
- Assist with tracking project management items (scope, schedule and budget) including reviewing billing invoices Print, assemble, bind, and mail reports and contract documents Assist in developing PowerPoint presentations that use clear, visually engaging graphics to effectively convey key messages Assist with proposals (editing, and reviewing) with a high degree of accuracy Assist with travel needs when necessary (lodging, transportation, registrations, meals, etc.
) for employees attending conferences or meetings Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in an engineering or technical environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly responsive with strong communication skills—written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with project management software a plus Available to assist others as needed in a fast-paced client driven environment Successful in completing tasks with little to no supervision, self-driven, self-managed
