JOB SUMMARY
The Renewal Coordinator is responsible for supporting the leasing and renewal processes, maintaining resident satisfaction, and managing resident communication and retention. This role combines responsibilities from both leasing support and renewal coordination, ensuring seamless resident experiences throughout their lease term.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiate contact with current residents regarding lease renewal options. Negotiate and close lease renewals in coordination with the Community Manager. Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests. Support the leasing team as needed, including assisting with leasing tours, closing techniques, and administrative duties. Maintain accurate community files and records in property management software. Prepare and review lease documents and move-in files for accuracy. Ensure proper move-in and move-out documentation and readiness (keys, remotes, inspections). Coordinate and attend resident functions and assist with community engagement initiatives. Assist in marketing activities and creation of marketing materials and surveys. Monitor and support the execution of daily operations including collections, notices, and compliance. Provide back-up support to the Community Manager and other team members. Support special projects and handle general office duties (filing, organization, supplies).
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred. Minimum two years of customer service or leasing/renewal experience in property management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of property management software (e.g., Entrata) preferred. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
