Bluff Recovery in Augusta, GA, is actively seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to become a valued member of our exceptional team!
Compensation:
$18 – $20 per hour
Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. This position involves adherence to intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative processes, inventory management, supervision of office staff, and delegation of tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the front office operations of the facility. Greet clients as they arrive at the facility. Oversee the scheduling of all appointments. Supervise medical records filing, transcription, and transfer of records, assisting the facility in fulfilling these responsibilities. Perform basic clerical duties, including but not limited to answering phones, mailing, administrative filing, copying, faxing, and typing. Procure office and client supplies. Assist with the intake process and billing sheets. Maintain office equipment, including liaising with vendors for necessary maintenance. Manage petty cash. Ensure the office’s appearance, cleanliness, and organization. Complete other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Required Qualifications:
Education, Licensure, & Experience:
High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in administrative functions preferred. Experience within the behavioral healthcare field preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily execute each essential duty. The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary: Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to learn new systems, including electronic medical records. Capability to manage crisis situations and respond appropriately. A working knowledge of federal and state standards, as well as compliance regulations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to talk or hear. Regular activities include sitting, using hands to manipulate objects, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, employees may need to climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
