Position Overview:
We are seeking a polished and detail-oriented individual to serve as an Assistant to the Parish Secretary. This part-time, temporary position is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and community-centered environment. If the candidate performs well, there is potential for the role to transition to a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Parish Secretary, assisting with a variety of tasks.
- Manage and organize parish office documentation, records, and communications.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and events as needed.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other office duties as required.
- Collaborate with other staff members and community leaders to ensure smooth operation of parish activities.
- Provide clerical support for any legal, paralegal, or administrative tasks (experience in these fields a plus).
- Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the Parish.
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or office support experience preferred.
- Legal/Paralegal experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
