Responsibilities:
Serve as front desk receptionist, greeting visitors, assisting jobseekers with completing applications, and answering & directing phone calls. Complete clerical duties as assigned (ex. file, organize, prepare documents for employee pick-up, maintain office supply inventory, etc.) Utilize database software to access and update records as needed. Track expirations & obtain updates to required caregiver documents including driver’s license, auto insurance, vehicle inspection, annual training, and motor vehicle reports. Assist Human Resources with hiring process by conducting pre-employment screenings, contacting jobseekers to confirm Orientation date, preparing personnel folders, and completing other related tasks as directed. File documents in caregiver personnel files in an accurate and timely manner. Cross-train and serve as backup support for HR Coordinator. (i.e. conducting Orientation in HR absence; verifying employment authorization using E-Verify; reporting to the Directory of New Hires, certifying new hires for the Work Opportunity Tax Credit Program, processing employee separations) Comply with all guidelines and policies established by LDH, Medicaid, and Leading Home Care. Model company values and maintain a professional and open line of communication with affiliates & stakeholders. Maintain strict confidentiality related to matters of employment, sensitive personnel issues, and private employee information. Additional related tasks as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma required 2 years of administrative experience preferred Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel Experience providing excellent customer service, communicating professionally via phone, and using computer software to access information Able to operate office equipment such as a copier and fax machine Basic addition/subtraction and general analytical skills Must maintain & provide copy of current valid Driver’s License, Social Security Card, & Auto Insurance, and have access to consistent and reliable transportation Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English Specific physical requirements may include bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 30lbs. Satisfactorily pass all required employment eligibility verifications including criminal background, driver’s license, sex offender, and state & federal Medicaid exclusions checks.
