Administrative Assistant to Commercial & Personal Lines Agents The Louisiana Insurance Center Inc. 5432 Superior Dr,, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic administrative assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance to agents. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, an understanding of insurance products, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. Responsibilities Analyze client needs and provide appropriate insurance solutions that align with their requirements. Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance. Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business. Collaborate with team members to develop effective marketing strategies that enhance outreach efforts. Ability to navigate multiple agency management systems Ability to work daily reports Claims tracking Assist in Personal & Commercial Lines Maintain all insurance documents in a confidential way Administrative duties Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently. Experience Previous experience in insurance sales or related fields is required. You must have your property and casualty license. Proven track record in telemarketing or outside sales roles is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to analyze client needs effectively. Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening A passion for sales and a commitment to achieving personal and team goals.
