GME Program Administrator II, Internal Medicine ResidencyMedicine –

Internal Medicine Residency and Med-PEDS Location:

New Orleans, LA Summary In coordination with the Program Directors, Senior GME Administrator, and the GME Office, the GME Program Administrator II for the is responsible for supporting operations of the Internal Medicine Residency. The Administrator will maintain accurate schedules for residents and faculty within the physician scheduling systems for affiliated clinical sites and schedule. The GME Program Administrator II will create and deliver evaluations for various rotations and follow up on evaluations for resident rotations to ensure timely completion. The GME Program Administrator II will also manage the Chief Resident onboarding and credentialing at affiliated hospital sites and with managed care plans. The GME Program Administrator II will assist the Department of Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency programs to develop and schedule faculty development activities in line with ACGME requirements. The GME Program Administrator II will maintain faculty and resident didactic session attendance in MedHub. Administrator will work with and often take direction from the Sr. Administrator of the IM Residency. This position is an important member of the IM Residency Program leadership team and will backup other team members when needed. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ program coordination experience OR
  • High School Diploma/equivalent and 8 years’ program coordination experience, to include database management and website management experience.
  • 2 years administrative coordination Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Working knowledge of QGenda
  • Working knowledge of MedHub
  • Working knowledge of AMION
