This department is responsible for the administration of programs and services for the following areas: Student Union, Post Office, Campus Reservation System, Camps and Special Programs, ID Card Operations, and two contracted areas which include Barnes and Noble Bookstore and Sodexo Campus Services for a total unit of employment of over 100 and totaling over five million dollars revenue annually. This position requires proficient verbal and written communication skills due to contact with a diverse population. This position must possess excellent accounting and budgeting skills, along with being organized and accurate. This position also requires a great deal of critical and independent thinking and also requires taking on initiatives without constant direction. The Auxiliary Services Support Specialist will help achieve organizational efficiency by nurturing a positive, inclusive work environment. The Auxiliary Services Support Specialist reports directly to the Executive Director of Auxiliary Services. Organize office operations and procedures. Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored. Responsible for maintain inventory count for all equipment that falls under Auxiliary Services. Ensure filing systems are maintained and current. Enters electronic requisitions for Auxiliary Services. Percentage Of Time 30 Responsibility / Duty Food Services Works with Food Services Provider to submit reports and other paperwork in a timely manner. Verifies daily cafeteria and cash operations worksheets for all food service areas. Post all sales information into spreadsheets and reconcile with the Purchasing Department on a monthly basis for commission verification. Compiles monthly and annual cash sales worksheets. - Assists Systems Analyst with daily tasks. Responsible for opening, closing and manning front desk of Auxiliary Services. Provides customer service, which includes: evaluation of patron problems/questions, and resolve and explain applications. Visits Card Management Centers on campus to collect cash and make deposits.

- Assist with Camps and Special programs as assigned by the Director.
Assists customers by email, telephone questions. Assists with tracking purchase orders, receives supplies and verifies that the three-part match is completed. Handles property control. Assists with social media advertising and marketing with input from the Director. Includes preparation of flyers for special activities by contributing suggestions for layout and inclusion of required information for all types of advertising and marketing. Corresponds on a regular basis with on and off campus instructors and representatives of local schools and major firms regarding scheduling on non-credit classes/conferences, booking facilities, availability of course offerings, etc. Percentage Of Time 5 Responsibility / Duty Reservations Assists the Reservations Office with work overflow that is required to help the department run smoothly.
