Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team in Salem, Massachusetts. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply organizational skills and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and sort books in the school library to maintain a well-structured space.
- Recycle outdated materials following established procedures.
- Ensure books are properly shelved and categorized for easy access.
- Scan and digitize documents as needed for record-keeping.
- Manage shipping tasks, including packing and tracking items.
- Maintain accurate data entry records to support inventory and administrative processes.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to complete assigned tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Coordinate timelines and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure files and materials are systematically organized for quick retrieval. Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service and administrative support roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files and timelines effectively.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with scanning and digitizing documents.
- Ability to handle shipping functions, including packing and tracking items.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
