Job Description
Perform all administrative activities for the Office of the Dean,Offices of Communication, Development and Events and Meeting Planning.
Some of the major activities include but are not limited to thefollowing; keeping the calendar and scheduling meetings for the staff,recording minutes at various meetings, ordering supplies, paying andreconciling invoices, creating shopping carts ;maintaining database offaculty and staff addresses for development mailings, making travelarrangements, assisting event and meeting planning with school wideevents such as participant check-in, distribution of programs, settingup of meeting space etc.. The individual will be required to work someevenings and weekends to support school wide events such as AlumniWeekend, and Graduation activities. The individual must exerciseinitiative, independent judgment and discretion in arranging meetings,maintaining appointment schedule and disposing of requests forinformation. Required Skills ? High School Diploma Required ? BachelorDegree in Business Management or related field is preferred but notrequired. ? 1-3 years of experience ? Must possess outstanding computerskills including advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office productsincluding PowerPoint ? Excellent time management and organizationalskills for project management, coordinating meetings, travel scheduleand specific arrangements ? Must have excellent multi-tasking skillswith the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines ?Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and be ableto critically think through problems and present pote
