Job Description

Part Time Nutrition Services Clerk Fitchburg School District Fitchburg, MA 01420 Part Time Nutrition Services Clerk The vision of each of the Fitchburg Public Schools is to provide learning experiences that engage all students in achieving high academic standards while developing intellectual rigor, creative interest, and social characteristics that prepare them for the challenges of living successfully and productively as citizens of this new century. Part Time Nutrition Services Clerk are expected to be available to work 19 hours per week 190 days per year•180 school days, plus 10 additional days split between prior to the start of school year and end of school year. There may be additional days needed during December, February, April break as needed depending on payroll and warrant schedules as well as two to three days during the summer.

Salary:

$27.84 hourly Hours•3 to 4 hours per day, shift start and end time flexible can be anytime between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM Duties Prepare bi weekly payroll for Nutrition Services staff and set up biweekly timesheets; Process invoices for expenses not covered by FSMC contract in MUNIS including creating PO’s, processing warrant, etc; Review and submit monthly meal reimbursement claims; Update Nutrition Services Department point of sale software with student changes as needed•daily to start of year, then bi weekly or as needed; Maintain district Direct Certified list including uploading rosters as needed to Direct Certified portal and updating status in point of sale; Record staff attendance in Aspen/X2 daily; Review and submit meal program application packets for the various meal programs as needed Three to four times per year; Send monthly cash receipts/deposits records to City Hall; Record employee training information in USDA training tracking site; Assign deposit designations for city hall as needed; Enter annual accruals for staff along with accruals for new hires as needed; Process staff mileage reimbursement forms; Process staff shoe reimbursements and cafeteria manager shoe and pant reimbursements as needed; Assist director with creation of quarterly

Statements and annual DESE Balance Sheet; Other duties related to the position as needed. Qualifications Holds high school diploma, advanced degree preferred; Ability to work independently; Prior experience in MUNIS preferred; Organized and detail oriented.
