Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Facilitates internal patient transfers
- Prints and distributes QPMR and approaching exception reports
- Handles clear-cut external patient transfers, inactivating deceased patient
accounts - Facilitates approved provider schedules changes in eCW
- Manages AMION provider schedule
- Process no-show letters for first time offenders
- Acts as an IT Super User to facilitate initial troubleshooting of systems issues
and training of EMR. Initiates IT Help desk Tickets and provides follow through
until resolved - Manages on-call sheet reconciliations
- Oversees office supply inventory
- Codes invoices for Practice Manager
- Initiates Check Requests for providers
- Monitors staff performance review schedule
- Coordinates CPR scheduling for providers and staff
- Coordinates conference room scheduling for meetings
- Provides administrative support for department to include meeting agendas,
PowerPoint slides, and minutes - Distributes Unlocked Encounter reports
- Distributes RVU reports
- Maintains and distributes staff calendars
- Coordinates and distributes birthday cards & gift cards
- Schedules staff trainings
- Coordinates PMP reports
- Maintains internal telephone directory
- Acts as a liaison to the credentialing office
- Facilitates submission of inpatient charges
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree preferred, not required
- Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint) and webmail - Good professional judgement skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to foster an enhanced team environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and plan work independently
