Job Description

Waynflete seeks an Upper School Administrative Assistant to coordinate the daily operations of the division, providing critical support to the Director as well as to other administrative functions in support of students and faculty in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Assistant also works in conjunction with the School Health and Counseling Team for Upper School student care and will need First Aid and Medication administration training which can be provided by the school. Attendance management is another key aspect of the role. This is a 12-month onsite position beginning in June. Applicants should have a B.A. degree, strong interpersonal, analytic and organizational skills, demonstrated expertise in written and oral communication and data management, and an appreciation for Waynflete’s particular mission and goals. This position requires a high proficiency with technology and a strong facility for learning new software, managing data systems, and the ability to seamlessly switch between tasks and softwares. Experience in an independent school or other non-profit organization is preferred. Discretion and care in managing confidential information is essential.
