DESCRIPTION

BENEFITS
Description The overall purpose of this position is to oversee the direct customer service
aspects of the Registrar’s Office with respect to students, alumni, faculty/staff, and
others. This position is responsible for maintaining student electronic files; processing
changes to student’s academic record (ie. school withdrawals, leave of absences,
grades, course withdrawals, and directed/independent studies); processing paperwork
and updating computer records associated with reentry students; resolving class roster
discrepancies. Examples of Duties ?Oversee and provide customer service by phone, e-mail, and in person, in a
professional and courteous manner.
? Supervise, oversee, and train work-study students
? Provide degree/enrollment verifications on an as needed basis.
? Update the National Student Clearinghouse with student enrollment data.
? Process, track, and update computer records associated with reentry students.
? Prepare and maintain CEU records.
? Track and release all final grades and associated forms.
? Process and track all change of grades, removal of incompletes, course
withdrawals, school withdrawals, and leave of absences.
? Process, track, and verify proper approvals of directed and independent studies.
? Update and distribute weekly withdrawal report.
? Maintain current student records, verify the receipt of new student files, retrieve
records from third party storage facility, and maintain file inventory list.
? Convert paper and microfiche records to electronic format.
? Collect, investigate, and resolve, all class roster discrepancies.
? Maintain office supplies and office equipment.
? Provide backup support to Transfer Credit Coordinator.
? Other duties may be assigned.

Typical Qualifications Education:

Associate’s Degree

Experience:

2 years of experience in Office Management/Customer Service, experience
in higher education environment preferred. Knowledge, Skills and/or

Abilities:

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
products, detailed orientated, organized, multi-tasker, and have excellent communication
