CACC. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Greet office visitors and staff. Performs a full range of clerical and procedural functions for CACC. Maintains electronic and paper filing system. Maintain the security of confidential information. Prepare documentation for CACC. Creating letters, forms, reports, etc. Answering telephones, responding to routine questions, etc. Helps monitor visitor access to the building. Schedules meetings and activities on CACC calendar. Understand and adhere to Board policies and procedures. Perform other duties as necessary to support the mission and vision of Columbia Public School District.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

Two years of office experience. Ideal candidate will have positive interpersonal skills and work well as a member of a team; the ability to multi-task and provide solutions; be Google Docs and Sheets proficient; possess effective communication and organizational skills; and have experience with Student Information Systems (Infinite Campus preferred). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasoning:

Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; Solve problems when such problems have a variety of concrete variables. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Technology:

Demonstrate strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; Understand and submit online reports; Learn new systems and software.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrate interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with a variety of staff members; Safeguard confidential information. Be a self-starter and work independently.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position an employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear; The employee is frequently required to move about and use fingers and controls; The employee is occasionally required to reach, bend, and lift and carry up to ten pounds; Close vision ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time is required.

Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
