Its mission is to foster, encourage, and promote the development, production, and utilization of oil and gas natural resources in the state and the health and safety of its citizens are protected by ensuring all wells are operated and maintained in compliance with the conservation statutes of the state and the rules and regulations of the Board. About the Position Assist the agency director with scheduling, customer inquiries, word processing, document review, personnel support, general accounting, maintenance of files and records and approval of requisitions for payment of operating expenses. Will also assist department supervisors in the administration of agency programs and coordinate internal and external communications. Communicate with operators, legal counsel, agency clients, and customers as needed. May be involved in a variety of agency programs and projects. Requires independent judgement in the interpretation, application, and enforcement of statutes, rules, regulations, and policies, and must exercise a high degree of confidentiality essential to the execution of assigned duties. This is a non-state service position, positions assigned to this classification serve at the will and pleasure of the Executive Director. What you’ll need to be Successful Effecient organizational skills, with the ability to handle a variety of agency programs and projects at once. Ability to use independent judgement and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4-6 years of experience.
Agency preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related field (i.e., General Business, Business Administration, Management, etc.) five (5) years experience preferred, human resources experience helpful.
