JOB TITLE - Distribution Administrative Assistant
- Brookhaven, MS
Assist the Distribution Manger with all transportation department functions
Essential Functions
Provide training for new and current employees.
Preform all duties required by DOT compliance.
Maintain customer contacts with industrial accounts for all branches in territory.
Promote a “zero” vehicle accident/injury rate.
Conduct monthly/weekly safety meetings.
Ensure total compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines both on company property and off-site while performing work.
Ensure that all operations are performed with regard to the safety and health of all personnel.
Maintain and/or supervise the maintenance of all records of daily operation with regard to employee information, DOT regulations, service reports, vehicle maintenance and inspection reports, driver logs and hours to meet company, state and federal regulations for safety and documentation.
Ensure that location meets or exceeds operational goals and objectives.
Take responsibility for personnel development while promoting employee growth.
Ensures that all employees attend required monthly training.

Qualifications
High School Diploma Work Experience
Preferred 1-3 years of experience
