Job Description

Hospice Office Coordinator Arden Home Health and Hospice 450 Towne Center Blvd, Ridgeland, MS 39157 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Office Coordinator is responsible for the overall effective coordination, functioning and organization of the hospice patient information system. The office coordinator must be a positive, helpful and courteous “first impression” to the patients, families, vendors, staff and public. . Duties Receive, transfer, and/or handle incoming telephone calls accurately and timely Document messages/phone calls completely and accurately and then forward to appropriate person Outgoing and Incoming mail distribution Orders management of signature/upload Tracking physician signature paperwork effectively and timely Maintain patient supply, ordering of all stock Referral intake Scheduling IDG/POC signature management/upload Maintaining an organized office Chart filing Obtaining history and physical medical records for patients Monitor office supplies Other duties as assigned by CTL or Executive Director Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care and office activities. Experience Candidates should possess a background in healthcare or office administrative roles, with experience in the following areas considered beneficial: Computer efficiency Scheduling Filing, faxing, uploading of records Working with individuals with terminal illness Familiarity with electronic health record systems We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent support to our team.
