Job Summary:

In this role, you will monitor heavy equipment for service-related downtime issues and coordinate information to ensure machines are operating correctly. This role will serve as a primary resource for account setup and support, including monitoring JDLink accounts that enable the Dealer-Customer partnership. Other duties entail coordinating with branch personnel, opening work order tickets, and other related efforts surrounding Connected Support. The process and responsibilities outlined will serve as a critical contributor to an industry-exclusive service support opportunity. The machine monitoring specialist will serve an integral role on the cusp of transforming a traditionally reactive industry into a progressively proactive response.

Responsibilities:
Monitor Equipment Systems:

Track machine performance using online tools and telematics platforms (such as JDLink and Connected Support) to identify service issues and support proactive maintenance.

Coordinate Service Efforts:

Work closely with branch personnel and service departments to open and track work orders, ensuring the timely resolution of machine alerts and service needs.

Customer Account Support:

Assist customers in setting up and maintaining online accounts, ensuring smooth operation of telematics tools and accurate system access.

Reporting and Data Management:

Generate machine data reports and comparisons using Microsoft Excel and other tools to support service and product support teams.

Customer Communication:

Maintain frequent contact with customers to confirm account setups, answer service-related questions, and provide excellent follow-up.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain organized records, update databases, and assist with warranty documentation and part retention processes as needed.

Professional Presence:

Represent Stribling Equipment in all interactions with customers and the community in a professional and positive manner.

Continuous Improvement:

Actively participate in company-sponsored training opportunities to expand knowledge and enhance skills. High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative, customer service, or service support roles; experience in the equipment, construction, or service industries is beneficial. Previous experience with JDLink software and John Deere equipment connectivity is a plus. Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and comfort with online tools and web-based platforms. Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize and multitask effectively. Must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S.
