About the Agency
BRC is an intermediate care facility for adults aged 21 and over. Our program is operated under the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. About the Position
This is advanced-level vocational work which involves performing a variety of complex administrative duties in developing and carrying out departmental programs. The work includes responsibility for analyzing administrative problems, and requires independent judgment in the interpretation, application and enforcement of statutes, rules, regulations, and policies Examples of Work Examples of work performed in this classification include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and manage executive schedules, meetings, and travel.
- Prepare and maintain reports, records, and other documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between departments and senior management.
- Oversee office supply inventory and order management.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company information.
Assist with recruitment processes:
posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboard new employees and coordinate orientation programs.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.
- Track employee attendance, leaves, and prepare related reports.
- Support performance evaluation processes and employee development activities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash and expense reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain records for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments for billing and payment matters.
What you’ll need to be Successful
Ability to perform office work such as answering phones, using a copier, composing emails, etc. Self-motivation and positive attitude.
