Summary:

The objective and purpose of the Administrative Assistant position is to support the overall operations of the company with specific support to the Senior VP with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks. This position also supports the ownership of the company, serves as the face/voice of the company for visitors and inquiries, and provides exceptional internal service to the associates. The incumbent will recognize that s/he is a representative of these executive functions and will serve with the highest level of professionalism.

Education / Certifications / Work /

Industry Experience:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related experience and/or training equivalent

  • preferred Hospitality or related industry experience
  • preferred 2+ years of relevant work experience in similar title and scope
  • preferred Experience in similar size organizations
  • preferred Valid driver’s license
  • required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA’s) &
Competencies:

Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to consistently model the highest level of professionalism with all communication Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills when representing VP/Director with professional communications Ability to prioritize essential tasks and multi-task Ability to meet specified timelines and deadlines Essential Duties / Responsibilities /

Task List:

Manages the calendar for the VP Project research and management Produces weekly reports Responsible for file management Maintains the upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of the break room Orders and maintains office supplies Is responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail and shipping (i.e. Fed Ex) Answers incoming calls and routing of timely messages All other duties as assigned, planned or unplanned

Work Environment/Conditions:

This position is an indoor administrative position with the requirement to run occasional errands. Candidate must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office. Overtime may be required with or without notice. This position maintains direct contact with external vendors on behalf of the company.
