EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

The Davidson-Davie Community College Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the college and its students through educational and charitable efforts. The administrative specialist will provide administrative support as a key member of the Davidson-Davie Foundation staff. This position involves assisting with a variety of tasks to support the Foundation Board of Directors, faculty, staff, and students. This position will provide administrative support to the Foundation office operations and requires excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Essential Job Functions:

Process donor transactions and prepare depositsDonation reporting and tracking for publication purposesPrepare, print, and mail donor acknowledgement cardsPrepare purchase orders, invoices, and monitor payments to and from vendorsOpen and process Foundation mailPrepare necessary supplies and printed materials for eventsAssist in coordinating catering and reservations for eventsAttend in-person events and assist as directedAssist in the management of alumni and retiree events and projectsManage office reception area and greet and direct visitorsManage and order office supplies and other items as neededAnswer Foundation telephone lineMonitor Foundation emailAssist with large mailings
