In-Person About Us:

BridgehouseLaw LLP is an international law firm located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. We provide a full range of legal services in corporate, immigration, employment, and landlord/tenant law, often working with international clients and companies. We’re looking for a self-motivated and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This position involves extremely simple and straightforward tasks — ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy, is detail-oriented, and doesn’t need constant oversight.

Schedule :

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Preferred hours: 9:00 AM

  • 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM , with 9:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM on Fridays preferred due to bank runs Approximately 15 hours per week
Compensation:

Job Responsibilities:

Reception & Phone Calls Answer main office line

Client Intake:

name, address, email, phone number, and legal issue (e.g., Employment, Corporate, Immigration) Forward landlord/tenant-related calls to Landlord/Tenant Department Forward existing clients to requested department Direct calls for specific staff members to their extensions Forward all calls for the managing partners to their executive assistants Mail Handling Open and sort incoming mail (discard junk) Scan and email relevant correspondence Handle incoming checks: make a copy, prepare a deposit slip, place in money bag, and take to nearby banks for deposit

Mailing & Delivery Coordination:

Process FedEx, USPS, and DHL shipping requests Prepare envelopes and labels Place outgoing packages in the designated mailbox area before leaving for the day (DHL picks up directly from the suite)

Concierge Coordination:

Coordinate with our building concierge for internal pickups and drop-offs that are outside the walking distance of banks

Ideal Candidate:

Self-starter who doesn’t need constant supervision Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to follow simple instructions precisely and reliably Prior office experience preferred, but not required Comfortable with Apple (Mac) computers, other basic office equipment (scanner, copier, etc.)
