- The Challenge
- We are looking for an Administrative Specialist to join our New Hanover County District team.
In this role, you will
- Serve as our Division Training Coordinator, NCVIP (Employee Performance Appraisal) Liaison, and help other departments
- Use your detail orientation and self-motivation to successfully manage and maintain multiple projects and assignments.
- What You Bring
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned duties with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to use courtesy and tact when contacting and engaging in duties that are sensitive
- Willingness to learn new procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to constant changes
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office using Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Office experience doing data entry, filing, and records management
- Experience with recording, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data
- Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form
- adjusting language and terminology to meet audience needs
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers while providing quality customer service.

- Your work hours will be 8:30am
- 5:00pm Monday
- Friday.
- Education and Experience
- High school/GED diploma, and
- 2+ years of related administrative experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
