  • We are looking for an Administrative Specialist to join our New Hanover County District team.

In this role, you will

  • Serve as our Division Training Coordinator, NCVIP (Employee Performance Appraisal) Liaison, and help other departments
  • Use your detail orientation and self-motivation to successfully manage and maintain multiple projects and assignments.
  • What You Bring
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned duties with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to use courtesy and tact when contacting and engaging in duties that are sensitive
  • Willingness to learn new procedures
  • Flexibility to adapt to constant changes
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office using Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Office experience doing data entry, filing, and records management
  • Experience with recording, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form
  • adjusting language and terminology to meet audience needs
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers while providing quality customer service.
  • Note
  • Your work hours will be 8:30am
  • 5:00pm Monday
  • Friday.
  • Education and Experience
  • High school/GED diploma, and
  • 2+ years of related administrative experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
