  • $66,120 The Challenge We are looking for an Administrative Specialist to join our New Hanover County District team.

In this role, you will: Serve as our Division Training Coordinator, NCVIP (Employee Performance Appraisal) Liaison, and help other departments. Use your detail orientation and self-motivation to successfully manage and maintain multiple projects and assignments. What You Bring Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned duties with minimal supervision while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to use courtesy and tact when contacting and engaging in duties that are sensitive. Willingness to learn new procedures. Flexibility to adapt to constant changes. Computer experience with Microsoft Office using Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook. Office experience doing data entry, filing, and records management. Experience with recording, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data. Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and effectively in written form

  • adjusting language and terminology to meet audience needs. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers while providing quality customer service. Note Your work hours will be 8:30am
  • 5:00pm Monday
  • Friday.

Education & Experience High school/GED diploma, and 2+ years of related administrative experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Questions?
