We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support the daily administrative operations of our day program center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office functioning and supporting our team in delivering high-quality services to the individuals we serve.

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or GED Possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and vehicle registration.

Background and Reference Checks:

All applicants who are to be considered for a position must agree to background checks, submit the required documents in order to process them, and professional references are required.

Microsoft Office Programs:

Must have experience with Microsoft Office programs – specifically Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office email system.

Clerical Expectations:

Must have experience and be intimately familiar with a variety of common clerical expectations such as: electronic documentation, typing, faxing, data entry, answering phones, receiving and sending emails, and filing.

Administrative Expectations:

Must have experience and familiarity with managing common administrative expectations such as: employee and consumer charts/files, coordinating trainings for staff, general housekeeping, billing and other duties as assigned.

Communication Skills:

Must have excellent communication skills as many administrative tasks demand that the Office Assistant coordinate effectively with other elements of the business such as clinical and human resources. Comfortability with

Navigating Computer Sites:

Must feel comfortable navigating a variety of computer sites such as our online employee training, time-keeping systems, and computer drives used for storing electronic documentation.

Good Work Ethic:

Must have a good work ethic that demonstrates arriving and leaving on time, a determination to meet position expectations, and maintain disciplined professionalism. Assist as needed with events such as parties or picnics.
