We are seeking a Unit Secretary to work directly with patients at our continuing care retirement community part time, every other weekend. The Unit Secretary is responsible for documenting patient information, completing standard administrative tasks and relaying information to the nursing staff. A successful candidate will display a commitment to patient care and will be capable of working as a team member as well as independently.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors, residents and staff
General clerical duties
Answer internal and external calls
Maintain office supplies
Verify appointments
Maintain physician correspondence
Maintain confidentiality
