AmeriStaff is currently recruiting for a detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant for a reputable company located in Eden, NC. This position supports Project Managers, Estimators, and executive staff by assisting with day-to-day office operations and ensuring organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Benefits of the
Office Administrative Assistant:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Additional hours as needed)
$18.00 per hour
Full-time Responsibilities of the
Office Administrative Assistant:
Maintain and update online safety and prequalification portals (ISNetworld, Avetta, etc.)
Assist Project Managers in preparing subcontract agreements and purchase orders
Prepare and compile job closeout packages
Support accounting with accounts payable (AP) data entry
Manage company cell phone accounts and special contracts
Cross-train with other administrative staff to provide backup coverage as needed
Assist the Corporate Secretary with financial reports, legal documents, and tax forms
Answer incoming calls and direct them to appropriate personnel
Organize and maintain filing systems for accounting, purchasing, estimating, and project management
Monitor and reorder office supplies as necessary
Coordinate with the Safety Manager to organize safety meetings, including securing locations and food
Maintain inventory of safety shirts, vests, and other safety-related supplies
Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Notary Public is requested
Ability to handle multiple task
Ability to stand, walk, ascend stairs, sit, reach above shoulder, squat, kneel, bend, and lift up to 10lbs
Ability to work in an office environment with animals
Ability and willingness to be cross trained
