Position Overview The Administrative Customer Service Representative is an integral member of the branch team. This is a multifaceted role that provides administrative support and customer service support to help keep the day-to-day functions of the branch running smoothly and to help the branch in achieving it’s sales and service goals. What you’ll do: Respond to inquiries and assist customers with the sale of products over the phone Research, analyze, and respond to inquiries of complex nature and assist less experienced staff with complex customer issues Enter and receive purchase orders, and process other forms and documents as needed Support daily tasks such as sales and inventory reporting, balancing bank deposits, and more May assist with ordering nursery and irrigation product inventory, maintaining inventory, and performing cycle counts May help to coordinate training for development of employees on functional responsibilities, new systems or business programs Order general office supplies for use throughout the facility. Maintain office supply inventory, initiate orders as necessary, and request approval of invoices. Skills We Are Seeking 1-3 years’ experience in administrative or clerical activities such as answering phones, scheduling, planning, and utilizing office equipment Great customer service skills General understanding of accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgets, etc. and can use the knowledge with assistance Retail inventory or cycle count experience helpful Knowledge of nursery, irrigation, and landscape products a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred
