Responsibilities Seeking Business Office Clerk with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment. The potential candidate must be reliable, detail oriented, self-directed, demonstrate initiative, skilled problem solver and have a positive and cooperative work ethic. This position will provide support to the facility by performing various business office functions as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming calls courteously, addressing inquiries from physician offices and patients promptly, relaying accurate information, and directing calls to the appropriate departments. Register patients upon arrival, including verifying identity, financial, demographic, and insurance details, and ensuring all required documentation is completed. Perform general clerical tasks, such as preparing patient charts, photocopying and faxing forms, retrieving faxes, and collecting necessary patient information. Place outgoing calls to patients to confirm next-day appointments, review financial responsibilities, and provide pre-operative instructions. Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Open and distribute incoming mail efficiently. Prepare and reconcile daily financial deposits accurately. Maintain a clean and organized lobby area to ensure a welcoming environment. Verify and log vendor and visitor sign-ins in accordance with facility protocols. Ensure patient charts are complete, including operative reports, pathology results, and laboratory documentation. Manage medical record storage and retention in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or equivalent preferred Minimum three years of experience in health care and minimum of one-year experience in surgery scheduling procedures preferred. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team Have a basic knowledge of surgery scheduling, receptionist and registration responsibilities; and must possess the ability to handle stress. The candidate must be flexible with hours and be able to work which ever shift is to be covered. USD $16.00/Hr. USD $21.00/Hr.

Qualifications:
