Responsibilities and Duties (•Essential Functions) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary job functions herein described. Serves as the initial point of contact, providing prompt and courteous service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors, in-person, virtually, and by telephone Processes on-demand transcripts at the counter and handles credit card sales using PCI computers Processes transcripts orders Assists students with the Residency process Guides students through the curriculum registration process and troubleshoots any issues Directs students to complete appropriate registration forms and reviews for completeness and accuracy Updates daily logs and assists with tracking weekly statistics Refers students to appropriate departments as necessary Ensures that the lobby area is neat, files are organized, and forms are stocked Delivers outgoing mail to mailroom and receipts to cashier daily Assists with other data entry workloads and miscellaneous projects as needed Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Demonstrates strong organizational skills Ability to perform normal duties with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of MS Office products Minimum Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent Two years of administrative or clerical work experience in an office setting Preferences Associate Degree Related work experience in a Post-Secondary environment As an equal employment opportunity employer, Wake Tech values our workforce.
