Display a professional attitude, greet everyone promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times Practice urgency at all times with tasks and assignments, especially those that require a deadline to be met. Type, edit, produce, distribute a variety of documents including general correspondence, memorandums, etc. Routes incoming mail, uses courier, U.S. mail, overnight mail, email, or fax machines to send documents as directed. Files correspondence and other records, makes copies of correspondence or other printed material. Orders office supplies and forms – maintains par levels. Assist in obtaining and/or completing new hire documentation for new employees. Maintain employee and resident files. May assist in recruitment, orientation, and retention of qualified staff. Assist in the resident admission process. Assist in application of Special Assistance, Personal Care Services, etc. for residents. Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by Finance Business Office Manager Other Skills and Abilities Reliable transportation Desire to gain industry knowledge and training Demonstrates initiative in accomplishing goals Ability to grow, adapt, and accept change Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and customer service-focused Commitment to work 40 hours to meet the needs of the business Ability to interact with all levels of employees and residents in a courteous, professional manner at all times Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
