Job Description

Administrative Assistant 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars 233 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith, NH 03253 Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and proactive full-time Administrative Assistant to support our restaurant management team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is intuitive, organized, reliable, and able to work independently. This is an in-person role located in Meredith, New Hampshire.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Handle administrative tasks including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to appropriate individuals and/or departments. Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls for restaurant management. Maintain and update restaurant records, calendars, files, and documents. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Assist with office supplies and restaurant inventory management. Help with payroll processing and tracking employee hours. Collaborate with various departments, such as the kitchen, front-of-house, and catering to ensure smooth operations. Sort and organize incoming invoices for scanning to accountant. Assist management with HR and personnel paperwork for employees, including H-2B and J-1 nonimmigrant employees. Support management team with special projects and tasks as needed. Holidays and busy times of year, required to assist as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an administrative or office support role. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion. Prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred, but not required. Experience or willingness to learn social media management and content creation is a plus.

Job Type:

Sundays plus one other weekday off. Potential flexibility of hours after training period.
