The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional support to both patients and dental staff. This position requires a solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Schedule and confirming patient appointments, and manage the office calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate medical records and patient files, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials as needed. Handle billing processes, including insurance verification and payment processing. Answering phone calls, Checking-in, checking-out patients. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for record keeping and scheduling tasks. Experience Familiarity with dental terminology is essential; experience in dental assisting is preferred. Knowledge of pediatrics, medical records management, and medical coding is a plus. Proficiency in dental imaging techniques related to general dentistry is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Previous experience in a dental office setting will be considered an asset, but we welcome candidates willing to learn and grow within the role.
