Hours:

Responsibilities:
Office Support:
Primary coverage for reception for lunch, breaks and absences. Sort mail and bring mail to mailbox at the end of the day. Deliveries, returns and banking deposits as needed. Trips to court to file documents. Update phone lists, mailboxes, daily sign-in sheets Set up and clean up for client meetings including beverages Assist in the execution of firm events, i.e.: holiday, employee events, lunches Troubleshoot and call in office equipment printers, mail machine, door camera and employee computer equipment. Set up new hire computer equipment and desk
Legal Support:
Record Retention:
o Ownership of file organization and retention. o Partner with legal assistants to close and scan files into our client database. o Organize off-site file retrieval for files marked for destruction. Go through individual boxes and log date of destruction or onsite filing in LEAP.
- Maintain and update inventory of Library books as needed. Distribute new books, updates and pocket parts.
- Supporting attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants on adhoc requests and projects including conflict checks.
- Other duties as assigned
Building Maintenance:
Help maintain cleanliness of building exterior, sweep steps, clean up trash left outside. Snow shoveling and de-icing during daytime hours. Assist with trash and clean bathrooms in the absence of maintenance.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years professional office experience.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs., stand on 5-foot ladder, and frequent use of stairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
- Highest standard of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong technical capability including all Microsoft Suite.
