PERSONAL INJURY LEGAL ASSISTANT
JOB SUMMARY
A well-established law firm in Manchester, NH, is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling personal injury, workers’ compensation, and Social Security disability cases in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Responsibilities:
Draft legal correspondence, motions, and pleadings Prepare and organize medical evidence for hearings and trials Assist with discovery requests and document management File and serve court documents (experience with e-filing preferred) Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel Manage case files, including medical records, claims correspondence, and deadlines Schedule depositions, independent medical exams (IMEs), and court hearings
Qualifications:
1-3 years of law firm experience (personal injury, workers’ comp, or litigation preferred) Familiarity with court rules, discovery deadlines, and medical record requests Strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management software (Filevine a plus) Excellent proofreading and communication skills (written and verbal) Why Apply?
