Home to more than 1600 students, the Pelham School District is comprised of three schools serving Pre-K through 12th grade students. About the

Position:

Support a friendly and welcoming office environment for staff, students and community; Assist in day-to-day front office operations; Answer and appropriately direct telephone calls; Secure building safety and greet incoming visitors at the front entrance; Maintain the school’s Google calender, Website and School sign; Distribute daily mail; Maintain contact with transportation company until all students are safely home; Coordinate individual, group or staff pictures during the school year; Perform general clerical functions (copying, faxing, mailings, etc.); Prepare and organize incoming registrations; Coordinate classroom teacher/visitor protocol for school events, parties, etc. Maintain confidentiality and perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by either the building Assistant Principals, the Principal or the Superintendent of Schools.

Qualifications:

High school diploma is required. Associate degree or beyond preferred. Successful candidate will have excellent people skills; be familiar with general office procedures; have a strong working knowledge of Google, MS Office – including Excel; and the ability to work with students and staff in a busy office environment. Experience with PowerSchool and a school setting preferred.

What We Offer:

This is an hourly, non-exempt position: 190-day school year (student school days plus 7 days before student start date in August and 3 days following student end date in June), 7.5 hours/day; hourly pay rate based on qualifications and experience; competitive benefits offering.
