Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Household Management:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces and garages.
  • Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organization.
  • Oversee and restock household supplies (cleaning products, pantry items, etc.).
  • Receive deliveries, open packages and put away, dispose of packaging material 2.
Meal Preparation:
  • Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation as requested.
  • Prepare snacks and beverages for the household members or guests.

Errands and Shopping:
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning pickup, and post office trips.
  • Purchase gifts or other household needs when required.

4.

Childcare:
  • Provide assistance with childcare as needed
  • Assist with school drop-offs/pickups or activity coordination for children.

5.

Administrative Support:
  • Organize household schedules and calendars, including appointments and events.
  • Handle mail, package deliveries, and basic correspondence.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Household Assistant, Housekeeper, or in a similar role.
  • Native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate cooking skills and knowledge of food safety.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain discretion at all times.
  • Physical stamina and ability to handle light lifting and cleaning tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPR and First Aid certification (if childcare responsibilities are included).
