This is a year-round, full-time position that offers an opportunity to work closely with the Director of Continuing Education in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Continuing Education programs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience organizing and managing a busy office, including processing registrations, grant management, budgeting and handling payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist participants with intake and enter enrollment and assessment data into the student management system.
Maintain accurate student records and program files.
Prepare bi-weekly payroll for staff and teachers.
Provide administrative support to the Director and staff, ensuring smooth operations within the department.
Qualifications:
Previous experience organizing and managing a busy office environment.
Strong technical skills, with knowledge of software including: Google suite, Excel and Outlook. .Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, participants, and the public.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced office.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
