Foundation Coordinator Cumberland County Campus Educational Foundation 275 North Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360
Summary:
The Foundation Coordinator supports the foundation’s mission and strategic initiatives under the direction of the Executive Director of the Foundation, performs a variety of administrative and advanced clerical duties to assist in planning, organizing, and implementation of activities for Foundation, Scholarships, and fundraising events; this position will require direct contact with potential and current students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following (other duties may be assigned): Management and maintenance of multiple databases regarding confidential student and financial information to ensure accurate record keeping Plan and execute, in coordination with the Executive Director, annual SchoolCounts! Recognition Ceremony and Foundation Scholarship Ceremony, including script, invitations, program flow, and event logistics Assists in the coordination and facilitation of annual events, including booking of event space, compilation and management of guest lists, arrange food and beverage and other catering service’s needs, order supplies & audiovisual equipment, make travel arrangements, order event signs and ensure appropriate décor (i.e. floral, linens, color schemes); secure door prizes and items when needed; post event tear down. Works closely with Assistant to the Executive Director on matters related to scholarship applications Coordinate and facilitate information sessions in middle and high schools Management and upkeep of appropriate webpages and social media pages Work closely with Enrollment Services to identify scholarship students, obtain and maintain current contact information for SchoolCounts! students. Management and maintenance of multiple databases regarding confidential student and financial information to ensure accurate record keeping and financial knowledge of scholarship students Acts as scholarship liaison to multiple departments including Bursar, Financial Aid, Finance, and county schools. Assists current and potential students as well as high school contacts with scholarship inquiries. Assist with the coordination of logistics for Foundation special events on and off-campus. Assist with School Counts! Scholarship program activities and tasks Attend events on and off-campus, including during the weekends and evenings. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferred; three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education may be substitute with experience that exceeds the minimum requirements. Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Ability to function well under pressure in a busy office environment required.
Technology:
Ability to: accurately type or word process at 60 to 70 wpm; utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point; effectively utilize various software programs; utilize the internet to complete research; and, utilize e-mail to effectively communicate and disburse important communications.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to: read and interpret documents such as technical/computer manuals, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and, speak effectively before groups of students or employees. Bi-lingual preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic accounting skills are required.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to: solve practical problems; deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; and, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
