4-6 months Pay rate: $26/hour •Responsibilities for this job include:•+ Actively contributes to creating a friendly, welcoming and safe environment for UH customers. + Communicates clearly to ensure understanding. + Responds to complaints and concerns by resolving issues immediately whenever possible. + Organizes work process to accommodate customer needs, including internal customers and co-workers. + Meets or exceeds customer expectations for service. Acts as a role model for Service Excellence. + Maintains professional composure in the workplace. + Works effectively with team to ensure customer service scores for work area meet/exceed targets + Demonstrates respect for patient rights. + Transcribes from Dragon Speech Recognition or types from handwritten draft all Anatomic Pathology reports, memos and other correspondence. + Coordinates records maintenance of the unit. + Collates and completes monthly Anatomic Pathology coverage schedule. + Reviews and sorts incoming correspondence. + Handles sending out and receipt of various materials in accordance with established procedures of the Anatomic Pathology Department. + Maintains a record of all newly diagnosed cancer cases to the Tumor Registry Division as determined by pre-established policies in the Anatomic Pathology Department. + Screens incoming calls, answers routine questions and/or refers individual to appropriate party. Makes outgoing calls as requested. + Assists staff and clinicians in the retrieval of patient data. + Enters necessary patient information and specimens’ requests into the Laboratory Information System as required in accordance with departmental procedures. + Responsible for filing slides for future reference. + Prepares quality assurance reports, including turn-around times and materials necessary for Tumor Board as directed. •Why work for Adecco?•+ Excellent Weekly Pay discussed during screening + 401(k) Plan + Skills Training + Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Pay Details:
