Affordable Housing Associate

Cranbury, NJ 08512 • Hybrid work CGP&H, a Community Development consulting firm, is an established leader and repository for affordable housing implementation policy. We are seeking a full-time Affordable Housing Associate to assume responsibility for administrative support to the Private Client Services team in all activities with potential for growth in the position.

What the Affordable Housing Associate will do: Marketing our services to potential clients who contact us regarding projects Assisting with contract creation, management, and follow-up Authoring new operating procedures and maintaining existing procedures to ensure they reflect best practices Providing administrative support for and shepherding clients through various stages of project set-up / launch, sales of rental properties, and rehabilitation of affordable units Preparing standard affordable housing deed restrictions and other required template documents using MS Word, Excel, and other data sources Entering data and relevant updates on all related client records using the company database (Salesforce) Assisting with the preparation of affirmative marketing plans Modifying template advertising content specific to each client project and in compliance with state regulations Drafting and distributing affirmative marketing flyers / mailings to employers, community groups, and other entities Producing web and social media postings Working under a supportive manager, training will be provided for a candidate with 1-2+ years of administrative experience coupled with a demonstrated track record for project management success. Strong computer, time management, and decision-making skills are a must. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required. What our expectations are for the ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or a 2-year Associates degree or relevant experience Sound judgement and sensitivity to the special circumstances Strong attention to detail, well organized, and able to multi-task Excellent computer skills including Word, Mail Merge, Outlook, and Excel Excellent communication and customer service skills Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment Able to reprioritize tasks when need arises Other experience that would make you great at this job (but not required): Experience with Salesforce software Experience with HUD housing programs Experience working in or with Municipalities We offer full benefits package available for full time employees after 90-day probation period, including major medical, pre-tax flexible spending account (FSA) for medical expenses, a generous matching 401k program, life insurance, vision care and more.
