Job Description
Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Paterson, NJ. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for helping others. The role involves providing administrative and customer support in a fast-paced environment while ensuring families have a smooth relocation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist families undergoing relocation by conducting intake assessments to determine their needs.
- Collaborate with brokers and landlords to secure housing solutions for displaced families.
- Facilitate the transition of families into vacant homes, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
- Collect and manage relevant information, answering inquiries regarding relocation timelines and processes.
- Provide hands-on case management to streamline the relocation process for families.
- Maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment, adapting to fluctuating workloads.
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, ensuring courteous communication.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records using Microsoft SharePoint.
- Support administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations.
- Act as a liaison between families and service providers to address concerns and resolve issues. Requirements
- Proven experience in administrative support or customer service roles.
- Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with data entry and experience using Microsoft SharePoint or similar platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse individuals.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred to better serve a diverse clientele.
- Experience in case management or relocation assistance is a plus.
- Capable of working collaboratively with brokers, landlords, and service providers.
