Personal Assistant/Nanny FACE Aesthetic Artistry Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children (ages 11 & 13 in a loving and safe environment before and/or after school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, along with the skills necessary to educate and engage them through various activities. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy fostering a child’s development while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in educational games, and creative projects. Provide caregiving support by grocery shopping, preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining a clean environment. Educate children through structured learning activities that promote cognitive and social development. Ensure the safety of children at all times, adhering to established safety protocols. Assist with pick-ups and drop-offs for extracurricular activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children’s growth and independence. Requirements Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred. Knowledge of First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with education principles and techniques is a plus. Ability to cook simple meals and prepare healthy snacks for children. Strong communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents. A genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being and development. Reliable transportation to travel to the job location as needed.
