The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Work Order Coordinator. The Work Order Coordinator is responsible to ensure work orders are taken and recorded in a timely manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receives service requests via a variety of electronic systems, to be entered into Maximo.
Prepares work orders and distributes to service crew, schedules service calls and dispatches service crew.
Calls or writes the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders, may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment.
Courteously and professionally responds to all incoming service calls and dispatches accordingly. Coordinates with proper staff to ensure work orders are processed and closed appropriately
May assist with vendor scheduling & coordination.
All other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements Required Experience & Skills Maximo proficiency is required
Computer experience, Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Email.
Customer friendly and able to speak clearly and answer the phone/radio, communication devices.
Preferred experience in Facility Management.
Must be able to successfully pass a government background investigation

Required Education High School Diploma of GED Equivalent Pay Range:

$25-30/hr
