It also advocates for and offers a welcoming environment for underserved and vulnerable populations. We are seeking a Dental Assistant for our Jackson Heights location. We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to work at our 400 Broadway location. Duties and Responsibilities include : •Provide administrative support to the executive office; Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compile documents for travel-related meetings; Greet and assist visitors; Screen phone calls and route callers to the appropriate party; Process Check Requests and Purchase Orders; Assist in the management of remote document storage; Distribute and track employee Metro Cards; Assist the departmental staff with special projects; Input data into various databases; Review of e-mails directed to the organization’s general mail box; Photocopying, faxing, filing; Manage the sorting, distribution, logging and tracking of mail; Process incoming checks; Prepare the expense report for the CEO’s credit card; Creates and issues Names Tags for new employees; Coordinate messenger and other delivery services; Assist with event planning and related functions; Ad-hoc project support as needed (e.g., research, information gathering, building presentations / spreadsheets, etc.); Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required. Some college preferred with 1 year of working experience providing administrative support; Customer service oriented; Self-motivated to achieve organization mission; Proficiency in Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn various in-house applications; Strong organization and time-management skills; Strong verbal and written communications skills; Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and resourceful; Must comply with HIPAA guidelines; Experience working with the LGBT community a plus
