RATE:
$24/hour, with overtime after 40 hours of work in a week
JOB OVERVIEW
The NYFF Philanthropy Ticketing Coordinator will assist with the ticketing needs of the very public-facing Philanthropy department during the 63rd New York Film Festival. Working closely with the NYFF Philanthropy Ticketing Manager, the Coordinator will assist with ticketing fulfillment and the VIP Ticket Pickup Desk in NYFF’s key venue, Alice Tully Hall, throughout the festival.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Assist with the Philanthropy department’s processing and ticketing operations of NYFF ticketing for high-level donors and coordinate, as needed, with Lincoln Center box offices; Provide NYFF customer service for the Philanthropy department (phone, email, in-person) to support ticketing needs during the NYFF member presale and festival; Use organizational database (Tessitura) to assist with NYFF seating and ticket orders; Staff the very public-facing Alice Tully Hall VIP Ticket Pickup desk during NYFF and supervise volunteers as needed; Assist with developing and fulfillment of a process for collecting relevant information and tickets from other FLC departments for distribution at the VIP Ticket Pickup Desk; Support Philanthropy staff at press screenings during
NYFF:
Assist with Philanthropy and Events teams as needed for hospitality at events and VIP lounge.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong written and verbal communication skills; Experience with customer service/front line guest relations; Ability to maintain focus and calm under pressure; Database and ticketing experience strongly preferred (direct Tessitura experience a bonus); Familiarity with fundraising/development practices is a plus.
