Job Description A Leading Asset Management Firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking three new Full-Time/Permanent Senior Administrative Assistants to work as part of the General Partners Strategic Capital team. Two of these roles are open due to internal promotions and one is an add-to-staff as the company is growing and performing extremely well! This person will be supporting approximately seven people, with 3 Managing Directors being the primary focus. Candidates must have a minimum of 8+ years of applicable high-level executive administrative experience supporting a team within financial services (required), and a Bachelor’s degree is also required. They should be extremely polished, professional, proactive, accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, proactive, and a true team player. This is a wonderful opportunity to join one of the firm’s most lucrative divisions in an incredibly positive, collaborative environment! Salary depends on experience (125-145k base), plus paid overtime and discretionary bonus eligibility (all in 160-190k depending on the level).
Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, with flexibility as needed. Hybrid work schedule (4 days in office / 1 day remote).
Responsibilities:
Provide senior-level executive administrative support to a team of approximately 7 people, including primary support for three Managing Directors, on the GP Strategic Capital team.
Schedule and organize extensive internal and external meetings, conference/video calls, and appointments; manage, prioritize, and maintain busy and ever-changing calendars.
Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements and detailed itineraries.
Prepare, process, and submit related expense reports.
Draft, type, and edit emails and correspondence and provide tracking and follow-up support.
Assist team with various ad hoc projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 8-10+ years of applicable executive administrative experience supporting a team within financial services (required).
Bachelor’s degree required.
Polished and professional.
Proactive, team player, with the ability to work independently.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance competing priorities.
Must have an attitude of “no task is too big or too small” and be willing to wear many hats.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills; project management software (Monday.com) a huge plus. If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
